C.Bouguet My deepest condolences May 16, 2019

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

Please go to the following link to obtain more information regarding the Hope expressed in this passage and again we are sorry for your loss.

Crystal Johnson-Tester You were so GREAT! October 1, 2008

Devin, you excelled in everything, school plays, decorating for prom, the saxophone; everything in general. You were one of the nicest people I do believe I have ever met! You truly touched everyone's life that you come in contact with. I know this because that day at school that everyone found out was one of the worst days at Fleming County High. I had never seen so many tears in my life. But it is good to know that you are in a better place in which you deserve, because no one as good as you should have to live on this earth, but it was great while you were here. Always thinking of you. Love always!

David Tullar Things I Should Have Told Him September 3, 2008
That high school isn't such a big deal. That he could have just waited for the movie to come out on DVD, theaters are a rip-off. That he should really go back and read Gulliver's Travels, it's now one of my favorite books. That I'd turn into such a wreck if anything happened to him. That Pott and I would visit as often as we could, even if we hated Stratego. That I don't believe in an afterlife, but missing him makes me wish I could. That I'd name my son James, but I'm planning on a daughter (he'd have laughed). That Niki and I would still be talking about him years afterward. That I love him.
Kendra Land My Angel April 27, 2007

Dearest Devin,

I can’t believe that I’ve gotten this far. I can’t believe that I am here without you. God must have really missed you in Heaven for Him to take you so soon. Words cannot describe how much I miss you here. I miss everything about you. You had so much going for you in life. You are my inspiration and my angel. I know that no matter where I am you are always with me. Even though it has been almost four years since you’ve went home you still surround me. I still think about you everyday and I’ve never stopped loving you. You will always hold a special place in my heart. We will always be a part of each other for ever and ever. Until we meet again, I love you and miss you greatly.

Yours for a little while,

Kendra

Andrea Frazier The Corner April 9, 2007

I remember every day just before band class, Devin and Kendra would be in their corner...Just around the side, there they'd be. Talking, laughing....just being happy together. The last words I remember hearing Devin saying were "Hey Danny Boy." With the passing of Devin I always felt compelled to be there for Kendra.

Felicia Richmond Where to Start April 7, 2007
Wow, where do I start? Should I tell our stories from 7th grade...passing notes in music class, cheating on test, sharring our relationship stories and telling each other what to do? Or should I tell of family dinners that you attended, or tricking treating when we were 16? Or maybe even talk about Mr. Flora's class, we had some really good laughs, alot of passed notes and alot of personal jokes. Alot has changed. We love and miss you.
Melinda Hamm Geometry Class April 6, 2007
I remember all the great times in geometry class. I may have scored 2 pts. better than you on the final, but I could learn from you in so many other ways. Miss you:)
Christine Taylor If Things Could Change April 6, 2007
So many days went by I would expect to see Devin walking through the hall of the school and hope to get to say hello just one more time, but I had said hello to him for the last time.  Not a day goes by that something doesnt remind me of him and how he could take any situation no matter how bad it was and turn it around for you..I know he touched many lives while he was here, but he continues to touch lives after his passing..Devin was an amazing person, and everyone who knew him knows that without anyone saying it, I consider myself lucky to have known him, even if it was only for a few years.  He is greatly missed, but I know he no longer suffers.  Thank you for the opportunity to express his importance, it feels good to be able to see his smiling face again in those pictures.
Lisa Riley-Dixon I miss ya! April 5, 2007
